The DCCV endorses candidates for local elected office and then recommends those candidates to the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee for their endorsement.
Candidates seeking endorsement must be registered DEMOCRATS whose correct names and addresses appear on the NGP-VAN voter rolls.
November 2022 endorsements for Thousand Oaks City Council and School Board have been approved by the membership.
We are accepting requests for endorsement in other contests decided by Conejo Valley voters - areas include Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura, and Calabasas.
Endorsement requests must be submitted no later than Sunday, August 21st. The endorsement committee will be meeting to consider applications on August 24th. The membership will vote on the endorsements on Monday, September 12th.
